A Mobile Map GPS application, there are plenty of versions for different countries including the GCC countries, i love fiddling with this app instead of using Google earth.. & by the way it uses Satellite connection, & would use your 3G or wireless connections to determine your current location. check out this video demo

However, i did find another vintage gadget which i have been wanting ever since i became more familiar with LOMOGRAPHY through sweetest Reem! Yup i finally did go out to a mall (yes its been so long) & found those two adorable plastic LOMO cameras! ladies & gents, let me introduce my two new funky, retro, film cameras!

  • Weight:  0.23kg

& the Diana F+ with Flash, I had this one on my mind for a while… I love this huge flash, it can also be used on the Fisheye 2.. it would be interesting to get your hands on the Deluxe kit .. the Diana F+ with flash costs 395 AED .. both & more lomo’s can be found in Gallery One in the Mall of the Emirates.. *thanks Reem*

Specifications:

  • Uses a 120 Film format, but can be re-adjusted to fit a regular 35mm film (which is easier to find, i still haven’t got my hands on a 120!) anyways, check this clip for the easy steps
  • Size: 12.5cm x 9.5cm x 7.6cm
  • Variable shutter (daytime “N” & “B” for unlimited long exposures)

I’m completely clueless & new to all this lomo hype, but I’ve already finished shooting a complete film roll, to be honest, I’m not sure ill come out with anything wicked, because, well…. i shot half of the frames while the lens’s cap is still on >_<’!  i keep on forgetting to remove it!
So yes.. ill have plenty of BLACK shots… ill try, ill try really hard to show you the outcome once the film is developed, if i didn’t then please be sure the whole film is unbearably dark!

PS,
